I wanted to merge two rich symbolic worlds — the moral intensity of the Seven Deadly Sins and the drama of Greek mythology. Both share themes of human emotion, power, and consequence, making them a natural pairing. Each sin is represented by a Greek god or goddess whose myth mirrors the emotion at its core. The Color palettes are chosen to evoke both the sin’s emotional tone and the god’s visual identity.
Each god is illustrated as a bold, stylized vector that balances mythological detail with modern graphic clarity. These vectors are the focal point of each bar’s design, framed by patterns and symbols unique to the god’s story. The use of a consistent illustration style across all seven ensures the series feels unified, while each god’s unique attributes and palette give it a distinct personality.
The typography is intentionally dramatic. The large, heavy, metallic letterforms that feel monumental, echoing the scale of Greek temples and the grandeur of myth. Each sin’s name is treated as both a label and an emotional statement, designed to visually match the intensity of its god’s persona.
